About the Vir exclusive and five star lighthouse villa in Zadar region
The villa was originally constructed as a lighthouse in 1881 during the Austro-Hungarian reign and it is an official 1st class monument of culture. It is situated in a pine-tree wood nearby a rocky & sandy beach which is suitable for families and children.
Accommodation is provided for max.8 persons.
The villa has been renovated in 2012 combining traditional Mediterranean and modern styles, furnished with luxurious wooden furniture and leather seating-sets.
The property consists of two floors in total size of 180 m².
The first floor features four sleeping rooms (2 rooms x 21 m², 1 room x 17 m² and the smallest 1 room x 14 m²). Each room is equipped with SAT LCD TV, double bed and bathroom (bathtub/toilet). Additionally, two larger rooms have access to the balcony that leans around the lighthouse tower and provides a broad panoramic sea view.
The common areas of the lighthouse are situated in the ground floor. There is a fully equipped kitchen with filter-coffee and espresso-coffee machines, microwave-oven, water-kettle, large refrigerator with freezer compartment and cooking-stove (Electrical and gas cookers) with oven and dishwasher.
The dining room is stylishly decorated and equipped with a mini-bar and small wine-tender, a bathroom with sink and washing-machine/dryer and a large living room with SAT LCD TV 130 cm² and Wi-Fi internet access. All the common areas and rooms are air-conditioned. Safe deposit box is also available.
Outside of the main building there is an inner courtyard surrounded with a stone-wall. Within this relaxing environment there is an adjacent smaller structure that serves as a mini-wellness and is equipped with sauna, whirlpool, multifunctional fitness device and an outdoor sun-deck in the Mediterranean garden. Within this edifice there is also the over roofed outdoor grill.
Except the accommodation, secluded beach with deck-chairs and mini-wellness, the following services are also included in the basic price:
- Breakfast every day with the personal butler
- Changing of linen / sheets every day by the maid
- During the course of the stay one day usage of speed-boat for max.8 persons with possibility of tours through the Zadar archipelago and visits to the National Park Kornati islands with or without skipper
- Transfer to and from the Zadar or Split airport or Zadar seaport (for 8 persons in two upper-class vehicles or with mini-van)
- Usage of eight mountain-bikes, since the object merges with the biking- and trekking-tracks that extend around the entire island

The following services can also be provided at an additional fee:
- Food catering from a local restaurant situated in the centre of town Vir (08:00h – 24:00h)
- Hiring of the traditional Dalmatian a capella band, that can excellently contribute to the unique experience on the dinner parties or manifestations
- Personal cook for preparing meals or specialities
- Masseur (partial or whole-body massage, previous order needed)
- Excursions program
- Participating in scuba-diving programs
In the immediate vicinity of the object there is a large regulated hunting-ground with mouflons, pheasants and quails.
In the outer enclosed yard there is a parking spot suitable for four vehicles. The villa is positioned approx.8 km away from the centre of the town Vir, where visitors can enjoy in variety of entertainment in numerous restaurants, wine-cellars or clubs.
NOTES
From 15th June -22nd September 2013 minimal stay is 7 days, arrival and departure days Saturday-Saturday. During other periods minimal stay is 4 days / 3 nights. Check in: from 15:00. Check out: until 9:30. Pets are not allowed. A security deposit through credit card validation upon arrival is required to cover the possible costs of damages or breakages.
Vir Island
The island Vir is located just off the coast of Zadar (northeast Dalmatia), connected to the mainland via a road bridge. The island is one of 300 islands and isles of the Archipelago of Zadar (one of 1186 islands in the Croatian part of the Adriatic Sea). It is placed in the vicinity of four National Parks: Paklenica, the Kornati archipelago, Plitvice lakes and Krka waterfalls. The beaches in Vir are mostly sandy and/or with pebbles. The island is also a desirable place for adventurists who enjoy mountain-biking, but also for those who like cultural performances which are numerous during the Vir Summer Festival.
